There is no point in holding your head always and crying that you don't have much time in a day to complete your most important tasks, you just need to look deep into yourself and find out where your most of the time is wasted or used let us check how we do it. The steps explained here are simple and can be followed by anyone looking to improve their daily life and lifestyle.
Where are our most of the time going?
We all have 24 hours in a day but only a few of us properly utilize the day. Most of us regret & before we sleep we say to ourselves " what an unproductive day it was " On the contrary, only f, ew of us make their day productive and that is just because they know the art of managing time.
If we talk about where most of the time is wasted nowadays so let me tell you the fact!
We have become cyber zombies. Have you noticed that we sit with our family either to eat food or just chill every member of the family is with his or her gadget in the hand looking deep into the ocean and no eye contact even if they are talking to each other? We scroll through social media watching videos over videos and wasting our time that is mere addiction to check our views and likes and followers and subscribers. For What?
Using the internet for productivity and work is totally and different idea and that OK! but excess usage without any specific goal set and only for entertainment is eating up most of the time.
We tell our kids to watch T.V or cell phones for a specific period but what happens to us and where is that discipline which we want our kids to follow but we forget.
The fact is Due to the internet we have connected ourselves to the whole world but we have become too far form ourselves
First Principle - Make a Time Log
The most powerful principle of all and my personal favorite is to make a time log. What is it? It's quite simple if you want to change and manage your time. Make a diary for yourself and note down your activities regularly for every 30 minutes what do you do. So for eg. How much time you take to get ready in the morning, how much to eat breakfast, study, watching tv, browsing the internet, etc. and do write down in your diary every 30 minutes. Once you do this for about 7 days you will find out the culprit hours. That means you will be able to find out where your time exactly goes. and you ll be able to manage it. You will be knowing you're unproductive hours and then can surely try to convert them into productive hours. Of course, Taking rest is exceptional but that also has to be entered in the logbook. How many hours did you sleep?
Second Principle - Make your financial goal !
Second Principle - Make your financial goal! he or she can manage time more effectively because the person has a specific reason to work for and have more productive hours rather than wasting time in unwanted activities. For example, if a person sets a goal of earning 20,00,00 per month and knows that he has to work for certain hours to do that. your time is well designed. If you increase your financial goal you will again manage your time to achieve that. either you will work for more hours or use your unproductive time to start something new.
Third Principle - Do your most important work first!
If you prioritize your work as per the importance you will be amazed to see how your day becomes more productive and time is managed. Most of the time what happens is that we are too busy clearing up the clutter and managing micro things that we forget to focus on the most important tasks. then we are ready to realize either it is too late to complete the important task now or your mind and body are so tired of managing micro things that you feel of quitting or leaving it for another day. this is one of the biggest enemies of successful management of time.
Fourth Principle - Make the best use of your travel time!
If you are in a metro city, you already know we have to travel hours to reach our destination. either it is our home, a friend or relative's place or even our office which we have to go to daily. Our routine allows us to maximize the use of this unproductive time we spend during traveling and commuting. Instead of listing to your favorite music or radio, you can utilize the time to listen to learning audio or a positive talk which uplifts your mindset. you can also make some calls during that time and schedule your day or week accordingly. - MarquisDevauvenargues - said - if you do not give importance to time you are not born for life's luxuries. -written by Rahul Kharbanda
